You've just finished spring cleaning, and summer is approaching quickly. Summer means longer days and later nights, and usually more traffic in your home. With playdates, game nights, and bonfires, there are likely to be more guests in and out of your home than usual. While fun is the priority, safety should be as well for children and pets especially. The Nose Knows... Smelly Homes Can be a Sign...

When you are checking out homes in pursuit of purchasing on, it is a a great idea to make observations with all five of your senses. This may seem silly... but the nose KNOWS! 

The nose is sometimes under utilized. Your sense of smell can help you detect issues that could cost you money if gone unnoticed until later. 

If you notice these odors and are still considering a purchase, you may wish to hire a professional who can come in and identify the cause and give you an estimate for fixing the problem.

* Cigarette smoke:
